I had added this as a favorite a long time ago and now realize that I overlooked commenting on it.
As with your other work, this is more than another great pencil drawing. It is an example of art that inspires all artists to take their drawing skills up another notch. It is impeccably rendered as to line, tone, shading and depth of field.
The composition is extraordinarily defined by ever so subtle shading and lighting not found in the reference photo. As such, this is not merely a study from a photo, but a masterful reinterpretation of compositional values and spatial relationships that make this drawing take on a life of its own.
Somehow, your delicate integration of penciling techniques magically emanate a feeling of power and strength in an otherwise frail human being. Beautiful work, just so nicely done.

an amaising reproduction... and amaising drawing skills as well... I am sorry but I cannot come up with anything better then that... I certantly would have liked to critick... but I just's can't find anything wrong ( probably because I am not as experianced as you are... and probably never will be ). I wish I had at least half of your skill... oh well... it's probably foolish of me, but could you possibly stop by my page and give me a few hints on how to improve my overall drawing and shading skills? ( I mean besides practicing a heck of a lot ).

yea, but referance or not, your shading skills are WAY better then mine, so any tips would be apreciated... personally Icouldn't draw from referance to save my life. and thanks for stoping by and for the comment.

I don't see any thing wrong with your shadings.
I personally use the circulism technique and work on layers. I use blending only in smooth areas..

yeah, it is a free website and the registration is very easy. You may reginster to watch the threads and it is up to you if you want to share your drawings or not.
