It's cold out. The wind continues to lash out, sending gusts of cold snowy air against the home. Meanwhile, Gale sat peacefully at his desk, drawing. He always had a passion for art. Though... he wasn't too skilled at it. Finally, the sun was asleep and the moon shined brightly. Gale's eyes felt heavy, and they began to close. He dragged himself to his bed, letting Evelyn sleep beside him warmly. He blinked before smiling, petting the boo's head. "Good girl"
Gale was in deep sleep, dreaming happily. Of course, that all ended when paws prodded his back. "Kwah!" Evelyn hopped around him. "Evelyn... why are you doing this to me? I'm comfy!" Gale complained, stretching. "Is there something you want me to see?" He opened his ocean blue eyes, wincing as light shined through his open window. "W-why is that open! It's freezing..." He got up, dragging his feet to the window. However, he was met with an unexpected sight. The sun was beginning to rise, the sky orange and purple. "So pretty!" Gale exclaimed, his eyes widened. He rested his arms on the window, gazing at the beautiful scenery. There was a sunrise every single day, and yet Gale never realized how pretty they were. He smiled, closing his eyes. "I guess the little things in life matter."

That morning, Gale had decided to be grateful for everything, the beautiful land, Evelyn, his family. He'd try and find beauty in everything.
