A value and hair study I did for DeviantArt's Retro Week. This took a hour and thirty minutes I should have spend more time on this, the painting looks really off because of how fast I did this study especially that I am new to the digital art medium 🐲. I think that this fits the "retro" prompt of the event being a black and white study, but what I want to be highlighted on this study is Asap Rocky's braided hair ☢⚠☣. I believe the hair tutorial (by TamarinFrog ) prompt was on monday but I still did it anyways ✨. If I am going to do commissions I can do these kind of portraits (note me if you want to commission me 😷). If you have any critiques on this work please leave them in the comments, I need some criticisms on this fast one 🐢🐢.
