Description I don't think I have ever been so effective with a pic and so content with the result.
(Sel looks fierce!!)

I got the inspiration from s birthday event. The theme was an Oasis party. Heh... I didn't stick to it... I turned it into an ocean. Well, maybe it's a mirage!
I was so into it when I was drawing this, I couldn't even pause to take a bathroom break...
I like it anyways and that's what counts.
And happy birthday RoN of course!!!


I did some things really different compared to how my process usually looks.
I drew the background at the same time as the character and picked the colors from the background to color Sel.
I also used less layers, not more than five and at the end I merged everything together and drew on one layer.
I think it was very effective and worked way better than my usual method.

I'm in love w the bg, the waves look great and the sky does as well, and the colors are fantastic, especially in contrast to her reddish hair :3 very pretty ^ ^

It was pretty hard, took me alot of time to get it the way I wanted, but backgrounds are the hardest always I think.
