Description it's not the chapters he reads
when you're feeling low down.
it's not the touch of his skin
when you kiss him goodnight.
it's not the money he spends
when you want to buy a daydream
and not that miracle smile
that makes the sky bright.
it's not the way his hands behave
when you've turned out the light.

it's the small small small talk
that makes it all happen.
small small small talk
that makes you want to fly, yes it does.
...
information, heart and soul, a whisper, a word,
confessions that have to be heard.
small small talk, small small talk.

Small Talk - Roxette

Because love can come in many shapes and forms, and not all have to be the overshadowing love-that-transcends-time-destiny-meant-to-be kind of deal. Sometimes it is about the little things.

That aside, yay for crack pairing! I suppose inspiration for this is from , who I think was the first one to draw these two together! And why not? Kousagi is a lot more like her mother than Chibi-Usa, and while Seiya might at first be attracted to the same qualities he loved in Usagi, I think that with time he'll love Kousagi for who she is! And then they loved happily ever after! :3

I wanted to draw them together in a very normal setting, no royalty or anything, just as two regular people who're starting their very own family!

Usually I'd be squicked by the age difference but, considering senshi live so long, it's not like Seiya's going to die so much sooner. Also, I'd think they wouldn't get together until Kousagi was old enough. This is how Jacob/Nessie should have been. If you're going to have your protagonist's boyfriend marry her daughter, at least wait until she's old enough. Don't artificially age her but have her still be a little kid.

Oh, yeah, definitely! I'd feel a bit "eeeeh" too, if not for the long life-span. I mean, I don't mind age difference too much, but I don't want one partner to die way before the other!

And I imagine that Seiya doesn't really have much to do with Kousagi at all before she's older. I like to think that she's all shy, and perhaps has some silly crush on him, so she hides away whenever he's around. Of course, then she gets older... And not in a magical quick-n-easy way!

I do have a soft spot for older mates, myself, so I can see the attraction. Of course Seiya wouldn't even notice Kousagi right off the bat--she'd be too busy being a diplomat or pining after the queen. After a few years of growth on both their parts, however, maybe she sees a beautiful young woman with the queen and wonders who she is. Kousagi, who has always been crushing on the Starlight, is introduced and acts clumsy or something that endears her to Seiya, but is also mature. Finally Seiya sees her as a woman and not a child. Then they get married and have adorably dark-pink-haired babies.
