meet the cast! or some of them anyway, these are just the kids of the mane 6. they all have official designs now, how great! anyway, I've never really talked about a lot of these kids much, so I thought I'd give some brief descriptions.

Stormcloud: daughter of rainbow dash and twilight sparkle
simply put, stormcloud is an asshole. she's stubborn, argumentative, and sarcastic as all get out. she's quick to anger and slow to forgive, and don't expect an apology from her if she hurts your feelings. stormcloud is a loudmouth who loves to talk, and the conversation is usually about her. she's difficult to get along with and finds it hard to make friends (it's a wonder how she ended up with so many). she shirks responsibilities but she isn't lazy -- she's highly athletic and loves competition. or, rather, she loves winning. celestia forbid she lose. she also demands perfection, not just of others but of herself. she finds it difficult to be genuine and open with her feelings, but her emotions are pretty easy to read by others.

Lady Alice: daughter of rarity and applejack
despite her small silhouette, lady alice has mastered intimidation and is not afraid to use it. in fact, many suspect she has no fears at all. she's an uppercrust pony who is constantly networking to further herself in her career. this often gets her compared to her mother, rarity, but lady alice isn't exactly committed to the personal touch -- she doesn't really care about getting to know the ponies she's talking to. not unlike stormcloud, lady alice is stubborn and very dedicated to getting what she wants. she doesn't really consider the others her friends, even though they absolutely are. she's an incredibly serious business pony and she has little to no time or appreciation for jokes. she's also not above throwing herself dramatically onto a chaise lounge and sobbing when something goes wrong.

Flash Flood: son of rainbow dash and moon dancer
flash flood is an insecure mess that has spent too much time hanging out with the wrong people. he'll do whatever it takes to make him look 'cool', and that usually means something dumb or dangerous. he acts dumb but in all reality he is incredibly smart and afraid of others seeing him as a nerd. he cares very deeply about what others think of him and he's afraid he'll never live up to rainbow's legacy. he can't help comparing himself to his younger sisters, either, and he always feels like he's 'less' than them. his competitiveness is a show, and even though he seems prideful and boisterous he only acts it because he thinks it makes him look cool. he's a scaredy-cat and a crybaby but suppresses a lot of his emotions. he absolutely sucks at trash talking.

Cyclone Surprise: daughter of pinkie pie and twilight sparkle
impatient as hell and always one second from blowing up, cyclone surprise is probably the most temperamental pony you could meet. she can hold grudges for weeks and does often (usually stormcloud is the recipient of said grudges). she's mute so it can be a little hard to tell when she's about to blow up unless you're good at reading a face. also, despite being a pegasus, cyclone is actually scared of heights and much prefers staying on the ground to flying. she loves sending time in or around water, and it helps to calm her down from her usually temperamental self considerably. while she prefers not to make friends or seek out others, she does long for close personal relationships with others. it's a huge hit to her pride to admit that she wants or needs to spend time with others, though, so it's not often she will.

Royal Gala: son of rarity and applejack
gala is a gentle giant who could never dream of being violent (and yes, he insists you call him gala, none of that fancy-schmancy 'royal' business). he's just a big ol' sweetheart who cares very deeply for all of his friends. gala is always happy to help others, and puts everyone before himself. he was raised on the policies of honesty and generosity, and unlike his younger sister, he sticks to them fiercely. secretly he does care very deeply about his appearance but you could hardly tell since farmwork demands he be caked under 30 different layers of mud and dust. he's fairly easily embarrassed and kinda shy, so he speaks rarely to those outside of his friend group, and even then hearing him say more than a sentence's worth of words in a day is rare. he runs in hoofraces against solar flare and loses often.

Solar Flare: daughter of rainbow dash and moon dancer
solar flare has absolutely 0 chill in her, incapable of turning down her intensity. she's the most competitive pony you could ever meet, and as such one of the most motivated. though many assume she is an extroverted pony, she is really not. she has pretty intense anxiety and cannot be in crowded places or else her stress levels will shoot the moon. she does horribly under pressure. her magic is incredibly explosive (even more so when she's stressed) and so she uses it rarely -- she's jealous of the control that lune has over her magic. she swears up and down that she was meant to be born a pegasus and secretly dreams of ascending to alicornhood so she can finally have wings.

Lunar Eclipse: daughter of rainbow dash and moon dancer
the exact opposite of her twin, lune is the pony most deserving of the title 'hippy horse'. she's incredibly chill and rarely gets stressed out. she's a very supportive pony, and is always proud of her older brother for everything he does. she also lets her siblings get away with pretty much anything, which they of course take advantage of. she's one of the largest ponies in the cast and has strength that rivals some earth ponies', so despite her often chill exterior, many are intimidated by her. she has fantastic control over her magic and vast magic talent but isn't particularly advanced in magic and doesn't study it often. since her bangs cover her eyes, many wonder if she can even see out from under them. she can't.

Echo Flower: daughter of fluttershy and treehugger
echo flower is a hard nut to crack. she oozes an aura of calm, dignified elegance and yet she could roll around in a mud puddle all day -- but lunadamned if she isn't the most elegant creature you've ever seen roll around in the mud. she somehow manages to be incredibly cultured, nearly to the point of seeming almost regal, and yet she's just a common hippy-horse. similarly to gala, she is a gentle giant, though unlike him she's a lot more talkative. however, her thoughts and emotions are nearly impossible to read, though not in a way that feels like she's guarded. she's an absolute mystery, really, she could charm the pants right off you after not taking a shower for a week (not that she would do such a thing, but she absolutely could.)
