What I am about to present is one of my favorite characters. His name is Edalpo. Edalpo was a vengeful isolated and bitter drill tractor who isolated himself after being mistreated and blamed. He currently thinks of ways to retaliate on the company he used to work for through competition or sabotage. Edalpo’s original lego model was created in 2004, only to be dismantled in 2006 and then rebuilt in 2008. Edalpo’s name is made outvof the first two letters of Edger Allan Poe’s name. His original name was also Long- Arms. Some of my concept art regarding him shows another mouth on his drill nose resembling a bird especially a raven. This was taken out because it would have been too convoluted to animate. I also want to mention that the drill beak thing came to be because of the Raven that visited him one night.
