This is absolutely GORGEOUS!! This is the type of wrapping I'm trying to master right now. I've been making washer pendants, but wanted something a bit more elegant for them. Your work is definitely inspiring! Thanks so much for posting this!

Our jewelry is very similar. I love swirls and obviously you do too. Why do you like them? Also what tools do you use to flatten and shape the wire?

Ever since high school my doodles have had swirls in them. My suns and flowers usually have a swirl middle. There is a graphic novel series by Neil Gaiman named Sandman. The Sandman (or Dream) has a sister who is basically the Grim Reaper (Death). She's gothic looking and she has an eye of Horace make up on her eye that ends in a swirl on her cheek. I love that series and I love that swirl.
I use round nose pliers for creating swirls. To flatten wire I use a little metal anvil (you can buy it on Amazon) and a jeweler's hammer. It's smaller than a regular hammer and shaped a little different but the head is steel.
Thanks for the comment! I'll have to check out your gallery! c:
