right well i drew this while watching the film Girl,interrupted. It's one of my all time favourites and sits in my head and swims an adjusts itself every time i watch it. For some reason it really gets inside my head and makes me think, the black ink part is from the film, an the pencil parts are my thoughts-not on the movie just in general.This basically is the product of cerebral vomit.If anyone's interested in the inner most workings of my head i'll type them out so they are easier to read:

"Have you ever confused a dream with reality?
Or stolen when you had the cash?
Have you ever been blue?
Or thought your train moving when sitting stil?
....maybe I was crazy,
maybe it was the 60s,
or maybe I was just a girl, interrupted."

"maybe the whole world is fucking stupid, but one thing I know, is that I'd rather be in it then down here with you."
-this was said to Lisa(the sociopath) when Susanna finds out she's getting out and Lisa traps her downstairs. It makes me think of my depression and how it cuts me out and off.

my ramblings around the picture:
first part on the left:
It's okay to be down, 'cos I mean if you're always happy how d'you know it's not some wierd conditioned response to the blackness of the world. There's no real escape, the world is full of darkness if you're an optimist or a pessimist. Feeling great heaps of depression let's us know where the true ups are, where the light in the cracks is.But then what of these bouts of numb where there is no up and down nor contempt nor boredom just this length of apathy. What purpose do these feelings serve or these complete lack of feelings.

on the right:
Sometimes i look to the future, my future, and I don't see it, I reckon i've fooled myself into thinking this is because i don't think i will live to see my future. I don't know why as such, I just feel sometimes that everything happens to me so quickly and all at once because I won't have the rest of the time to fill up with crazy drama that i never seem to avoid. Would my life really be so insufferable if for just once i experienced a smooth relationship calm and sailing for longer then a few months?
