Here you have the first two characters I ever created, back in 2003, for a... thing... that I thought would become a hugely popular manga. And I'd have fangirls and I'd make lots of money and I'd live in Japan! Yes, it was a catastrophe all around.

The pimp-looking one is Syoti and the tweaked-out elf is Kinjou. (I have an actual pimp who kind of inherited Syoti's design but he does not dress half that fruitily. Kinjou kind of got left to the wayside because we do not need another albino elf in the world.) They're from the same thing as Alyos, but I look back on him more fondly because at least he's fucked-up. I guess Kinjou kind of looks like Velara dunked in bleach? Minus the melted face. (They're the same species.) He had fire powers, maybe he should have had a melted face; it would have made him more interesting.

Anyway I used to suck, end of story.
