Overview: A sensitive child who appears to be very shy and scared but flares up in angry emotions in short, violent bursts and can hardly keep them under control. He relies on his mother and his friends for physical protection and appears naive and insecure, but is willing to stand up for his friends and throws himself into an argument quite easily. He is, however, an angry cyer, so the second things get heated he bursts out into tears no matter how hard he fights it. Will, during emotional bursts, flare forward, but the moment the opposing party does a step forward, he scrambles back and flees. He's very afraid of physical confrontation and will instantly lock up once it reaches that point. She knew that her ex-boyfriend and Owen's father also had a wife and another son, and obviously chose them instead of her, deserting her when she revealed she was pregnant, and in Owen's fragile mind this turned into a form of blame. It was his father's fault they were like this, and going even further, it was his half-brother's fault his father didn't come to take care of Owen and his mother. Owen grew close to his mother, who tries her best for him, and often tried to get him to be social and not worry about money. He was only a child.
Bills rised and so did Owen's anger towards his family. He found an outlet in dancing, something his mother actively supported, but he still stayed small and frail and hardly intimidating.
To take care of the bill backlog and to hopefully move herself and Owen to Junction City, Owen's mother sold her entire tail. It brought a lot of money in - enough to get them out of the bills and get them to Junction City - but she was so weak and in pain Owen had to carry and drag her home, and he vowed to teach his father and half-brother a lesson no matter what the cost.
They finally moved to Junction City, where his mother finally has a job, but they're still on ground level and they don't have many places to go. Owen is in school, and manages, although he's still bullied once in a while. But he is also still on the hunt for his half-brother, and he will find him.
