The self-proclaimed king of Dream Land is here, and he's ready to clobber the new competition with his mechanized hammer. Not all of us consider him a villain, just a greedy troublemaker, even chaotic neutral. King Dedede's moveset hasn't changed much from Smash Ultimate for his moveset, other than the added dash special, and having two extra final smashes. In fact, he has his Waddle Dee Army from Smash Brawl for his Final Smash Level 1, his Dedede Burst from Smash 4 for his Final Smash Level 2, and his Dede-Rush from Smash Ultimate for his Final Smash Level 3. All these final smashes make him the only character so far to change final smashes in the real installments, and have them altogether here. King Dedede appears in his iconic outfit for his Type 1 and signature attire, while he appears in yarn texture for his Type 2 attire. Unfortunately for him, King Dedede's base stats classify him as a Mighty Glacier once again. This makes him the only veteran super heavyweight to remain a Mighty Glacier for so long, thus far. Although his air speed has improved, it isn't enough to make his overall Speed above average given how lousy his other speed factors are. Good thing he's aerodynamic, so he can travel airborne for mobile purposes. He's also very strong, has great damage resistance, and has the best Durability in the roster. Being a super heavyweight with immense falling speed and gravity really pays off. Seriously, with brilliant raw strength, immense size, good utility and unmatched knockback reduction, King Dedede is like a great massive tank. And one that can fly, due to his great jumping prowess and good recovery options. You'd better bring in the big guns if you want to wipe this king out!
