Description The time has come
To drop the bomb
On all the pain you've been selling
See I don't like you
Or your attitude
Or the company that you keep

And this is war ...
And I'm gonna wipe that smile off your face.

Our Lady Peace

---

Do we smile too much, pretending to be unaware of pain, death, killing, famine and mass destruction? Do we let our 'leaders' take over, do we follow them like sheep? Do we stop thinking, do we stop feeling conscious? Do we feel guilty?

Do you?

No we don't. We are aware of everything. But most people don't want to think of all those things. There is not much you as one person can do about it. And to really do something about it you have to have a leadership ability, which most of us do not have.
People need leaders, they need someone to guide them, they need someone to say what to do, they want to be controlled, they want safety. It is human nature.
But it's a shame that those leaders most of the times become corrupted by one thing or the other.
And to stop them is very hard. Only with great numbers can you overcome curruption. But for that, everyone has to take a risk.
A risk that has to put everything they live for at stake: their families, their job, their lives. And fact is, no many persons are willing to take that risk.
So do we feel guilty? Yes I think so. But most people want to live their lives peacefully, with no unneccesary distortion.
So we follow them like sheep.
So we stop thinking.

Do we smile too much, pretending to be unaware of pain, death, killing, famine and mass destruction? Do we let our 'leaders' take over, do we follow them like sheep? Do we stop thinking, do we stop feeling conscious? Do we feel guilty?

...we don't know how it feels... so you can't be hit by emotion from it, then, we cant do anything about it - even if you dedicate your whole life to it some of those dedicated people will never reach the ultimate goal... we trust on our leaders because we're to weak ourselves... as are they - but together they make a difference - we can only vote on whats best...

Thanks. I cheated a little on the eyes, though... I used some dodging and burning there. Hehe... Glad you like it!
