With some not-so-awesome characters. c_c M.O.D.O.K? More like L.O.L.W.T.F.

Still, I hope that eventually leads to a new Darkstalkers game. Capcom should have taken the chance to officially re-name Hsien-ko and Mei-Ling to Lei-Lei and Lin-Lin like SEGA (Dr. Robotnik to Dr. Eggman) and Nintendo (Princess Toadstool to Princess Peach).

Hsien-Ko has always been her name in the west, Lei-Lei has aways been her eastern name. I don't know why but it's always been that way, I don't think that it's going to change A new Darkstakers game has to be a must!

Compromises have been made in the past (as stated with Toadstool/Peach and Robotnik/Eggman). Even with Capcom themselves...Charlie was always Nash in Japan. Fanon and eventually Udon's comics gave his name as Charlie Nash, which was finally made official in SF4.

The Robotnik to Eggman really got on my nerves a few years ago. I don't think Capcom will make the same compromise you want though.

Was there ever a reason that I'm not aware of which warranted the changing of so many Darkstalkers character's names? It's like nearly half the roster has a different name outside of Japan.

And yah, when I saw mr. bighead for the first time in MvsC3, I was like... srsly?

I don't think there's an official reason...my only guess is that most of the names changed have an "L" in Japan (Zabel, Lei-Lei, Gallon, Bulleta, Aulbath) and they wanted to avoid the potentially common confusion with Ls and Rs. Or they just wanted more characters with the letter-name combo (like M. Bison, E. Honda) that Capcom seems to love.

Marvel seems to love M.O.D.O.K. for whatever reason so he's everywhere...in their shows, comics, and now games. I'm still trying to figure out why...it's kind of ironic because while Marvel seems to have better heroes, DC has the better villains.
