Post-A-Thing-A-Day Month Day #20!We've made it to day twenty! Only eleven more days to go! It might be a little too soon to call this the home stretch, but it sure feels like it to me.
This is Max Vandenburg from The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, which is one of the best-written, most heartbreaking and all around most amazing books I have ever read. Max was my favourite character, I think. He's got a big weight on his shoulders. I loved him, so I'd have to say my favourite character is either him or Hans Hubermann.
(slight, nonspecific spoilers below)
You really have to be careful picking favourite characters in this book, though.
