Description: As with any abstract piece I feel that we see what we want to see. It often depends on the type of mood we are in to be able to see the explanation the artist was trying to convey. So take a step back and try to REALLY see what you feel it means, then continue to read my explanation of what it means to me. This piece was made back in 2015 when marriage equality was first nationally legalized. I felt inspired to create a piece in honor of it. I was so happy with the outcome of it, I haven't actually shown it in an art show before now. I kept it for a personal decoration as it's how I see the world. The colors represent; Everything. From the many personalities that people have, to the wide array of colors the world itself has to offer in nature. The shapes symbolize the external differences humans have, in a circle that symbolizes the world that they are each attached to. To me it shows that, even though we are different and we are from all over the world, we are connected. We are one.
