I think this is an amazing piece, just looking through the comments, i think it so strange how people are able to relate it to either themselves or others.
I am going to add to that list, for the facial features look exaclty like a friend of mine. And i mean Exactly. Although he doesnt have long hair.

that looks like me when I was younger. I would suggest cropping it to make it look more natural but you probably would rather it not look like a ralistic portrait I guess it looks sort of ethereal, the values structure is well interpreted giving it a pencil or charcoal look.

wow, this came out very well, I love the way you highlighted his features and theshading in general. Only thing I don't like too much is the length of the nose (vertically), either it should be longer or the mouth/chin higher. But I don't know if you used any reference, and well, not every face looks the same *lol* So the nose-part might be intendet.

what a cute guy (I'm a sucker for long hair). i especially like the style. it has an old feel to it, yet this is obviously a man of our days. the contrast is very interesting and expressive.
