Description
Really had fun using a wider verity of media than I’m used to for this. I put down masking fluid after inking the tardis part of it, then colored the background with markers and blended it with alcohol. Then I rubbed off the masking fluid which makes the stars. Then I colored the tardis stuff with colored pencils. ^^

The original idea for this picture was just I wanted to draw my favorite Doctor Who boy companion (Adric) and favorite girl companion. (Donna) I don't think I got very good likenesses of either but it is my first time drawing them. The funny thing is, as I was drawing it I started thinking of a story to go along with it. (original plan was for it to be just, "yeah this is impossible, but it's just cute") It would be that if the Doctor was looking for something in the many rooms of the tardis and somehow wandered into some kind of memory projection room. Donna was sitting in the console and she looked around and there was this boy standing there. They sorta made friends (Donna wasn't TOO weirded out, after all, she just randomly appeared in the tardis the first time.) and then they were sitting, looking out the door and he was telling her about himself.
"You see, we're in N-space and out there is E-space. That's where I come from." They talked for a long time and eventually fell asleep. When Donna woke up the Doctor was back, but the boy was gone.
"Is there some reason you opened the door and then fell asleep?"
"....There was this boy here..."
"What?"
"A boy with dark brown hair... we were talking and... I must have fallen asleep. He was wearing strange clothes. And a badge. He said it was for mathematical or excellence or something."
"..." The Doctor looked down at the tardis controls. Donna couldn't see his face.
"Doctor? Are you alright?"
"...I'm always alright."
