The annual art summary - now with a new layout to accomodate the more Instagram-friendly formats

So, it continues to not be... great. It's the second year in a row I have nothing at all for one of the months and May barely counts because the only thing I have to show for it is an abandoned WIP :C On the other hand, even though I haven't been very prolific this year either there are a good few pieces here that I still am genuinely proud of, which is encouraging. It's not much to the world, but I mainly want to find my way back to the joy of creating again. 2-year art blocks are tough, man. There are a few themes here I hope to expand on in the coming year(s), so we'll see how that goes!

Last year I said I looked forward to reviewing my 2016... and it turned out to be a year that failed to live up to expectations. Every expectation. And here I thought 2015 was rough :'D This year has been nothing but heartbreak upon heartbreak and here at the end I find myself questioning my very identity. For two months this year, I genuinely was happy. Soaring. Then for the remaining ten, I have slipped further and further, down and down and down. Can we do the opposite next year, please 2017?
