I'm practicing icons and getting a lot better, still trying to understand shading a bit more. I found out earlier gimp has an optimization to combine parts of a layer to other layers drastically lowering its file size. I thought of changing the gradient back to it's full size but I didn't feel like having to redo anything so I'm good with it.
