Ne ich denke nicht. Das war glaube ich ein verschneiter Zugang. War eher eine Anspielung.

You can never be sure what's under a thick layer of snow. That said, I think this may just be an access way.

To be honest, the timing and everything was pure luck and happened by chance. Originally I was looking for a wide gap in the trees on that side of the mountain to get a scenic view. I already walked 4-5 km further away from my home than I had originally planned for. It should have been an evening stroll. In the end I probably made 12+ km. As you can guess, I never found a gap. Then on my way back I came across this site and saw some mountain peaks, hit by the light, through some trees and thought "hey, let's head that way and see if I find a gap there". I happened to walk past this small gap exactly when the sun was starting to funnel its light through it... I only had to find a good position and then to wait a couple of minutes for the sun to move to the right spot. So much for the timing. I'm glad you like it though!

Is that a positive thing?^^ I have been using a new sharpening process lately and I feel like I'm starting to get a good feeling for it. I'm curious what other people think about it.

Surely it is! What precess are you using?

Ok, nice to know! Nothing special but it's the sharpening tool in Camera Raw of Photoshop. I just discovered it in the end of 2017...
