Hopefully not! -,- Chichi loves him too much because there's no other reason why she would've put up w/ all his crap all those years otherwise. As for Goku, his love is somewhat in question, but I believe he's too honorable to leave her even though they fight from time to time. But I believe he does care for her though.

I see it as she wants her son to study so he'll stay at home, safe and going off to fight and get hurt or killed. She has to deal with it with Goku all the time and she doesn't want to do that with her son.
As for the arguing, it's usually because Goku wants to do something dangerous and the only she can communicate her dislike for it is to yell or argue with him. She does it all out love though, if she didn't care, she wouldn't fight so much, she just wouldn't bother at all.

Knowing what I know, it's like watching pearl harbor, titanic, or something of the hindenburg blimp. You know disaster's coming from afar but nothing you can do to stop it. That's kinda what I feel when I see peaceful pics like this, with the exception of the winter one since everything's a bit more stable and everyone's powered up like crazy.
Anyway I'm glad you're humanizing the characters, as much as I love them all god-like, it's the tragedy that they're not.
Btw, your technique really has improved, comparing this to your other work. Something I noticed from this and the winter family pic.

Yup, I never liked to draw all the battle scenes and stuff, it's been done too much anyways.
BTW, I specifically say if my pieces are older or newer so people can see the changes, I usually do end up getting better as I draw more. As long as it's not too crappy I put up old ones. Thanks for noticing! ^.^

hee hee, yeah since the show was usually action-packed, i thought this would be a nice change of pace. it was one of my first works, though I practiced a lot before i drew any official fanart.
