Afro-inks aims to create an afro-caribbean fantasy from a series of weekly illustrations for Afropunk using as an starting point expressions of the people featured in “Afro of the day”. Afro-inks is a line created by a drop of ink that becomes into the expression of African traits mixed with the Taino culture and European elements that merged into what the Caribbean is today: three continents which constitute the cultural diversity of our land.
Afro-inks es la búsqueda por crear una fantasía Afrocaribeña a partir de una serie de ilustraciones semanales para Afropunk. Utilizando como punto de partida las expresiones de las personas seleccionadas como "Afro Of The Day". Afro-inks es una linea creada por una gota de tinta que deviene en la expresión de los rasgos africanos, mezclados a la cultura taína y elementos europeos que se fusionan para crear lo que hoy es el caribe, tres continentes que forman la diversidad cultural de nuestra tierra.
