That's absolutely gorgeous. Probably one of the most stunning pieces in your gallery.
I love the combination of the kind of industrial feel of steel and the delicate black crystals, and of course the weave is so intricate that it turns the steel into something beautiful. So it has a certain femininity to it, but combined with a sense of power and toughness. If you know what I mean.

I really love your stuff. Beautiful work.

Thank you, I agree! It took me quite a while to finish it, but I just couldn't wait, I lost a bit of sleep near the end of this one
I totally know what you mean, this piece can be worn with a dressy outfit, or with a pair of pants, chains and big stompy boots

Lemme know how much you sell those for. I want one of those. Gimme a note. I live in the chicagoland area of illinois. So send me a note with a possible price quote. Wow.

Hi
Are you interested in this exact piece? I can always change it around a bit to make it your own.
I must run to the post office to see how much it would cost to ship this piece before I can give you a quote anyway, as I usually just round the price off to a simple amount with the shipping included.
Thank you for your interest

Something very much like that. Haven't decided yet now that I looked over some of your info. I'll get back to you. But I'd like to know some price ranges for what metals and what not.

Well the type of metal won't change the price really, unless of course you want gold plated, sterling silver or titanium
The price does change with the amount of effort I put into the piece, the more rings the more time I spent making it. A necklace that took me an hour or so wouldn't cost more than $20-$25 (shipping included). Aluminum, being very light would ship for less money. Copper and stainless steel weigh maybe 3x as much...
Personally, I like the "feel" of the heavier metals. I try not to make an item out of aluminum alone, it just feels.. I can't really describe it, almost like a fake gold necklace you might have as a kid. But you certainly can't get the vivid colors that you get with aluminum on the steel, this is why I try to mix them together

Well I can't wear any metals that would be eaten by skin. Well I can't wear most sterling silvers. I know that I can wear sergical steel and titanium. But I doubt I can do aluminum. I think my skin's acidity would tear right through that and tarnish it. I would sorta want a dangly piece with crystals hanging on the ends. Sorta like the one I commented on. but maybe a few more danglies? It's hard to explain. I'll see if I can come up with an example.

I think I have a picture in my head of what you are interested in, but if you can get me an example of what you are interested in, all the better
So copper might be out too? I think your best bet then would be to stick with the stainless steel, you might even be able to get away with the stainless black as well...

Thanks. Alright. I'll look around or try to draw something for reference. I need to get back into beading. I'm so jealous of some of the works I've seen. I have the need to make necklaces again. I need to rephotograph my stuff too.

I couldn't wait to finish it, but when I did I noticed that it looked pretty fancy on me. It looks best worn with a dress rather than a t-shirt

I have that problem too... I'm usually a jeans and combat boots type, so I'm pretty sure I look silly wearing my fancy necklaces. But then... I look funny anyway, so what difference does it make?

Either way, very pretty necklace you made!

By the time I was about half way through it I just couldn't stop, plus I really wanted to wear it to this thing I was going to. and when I did finish and try it on, it just looked too fancy for a tattoo convention.
*shrug* oh well
Thx
