Salord kept advancing. He destroyed one pride after the other. Kingdoms fell into panic. No one knew what to do against the curse. So the council of all kingdoms met in front of Pride Rock.
The kingdoms demanded the death of Salord to stop the spread of the curse, but Objule, the young star lioness, opposed it, knowing that this would not stop the curse.
"I think we should include the Kingdom of the Mountains in the council," Welmir suggested.
"Are you crazy?" hissed Hofu, the king of the coast, "This is a group of madmen who seek to destroy us with their conspiracies."
"That is not true, Hofu. Their leader is my brother and a very righteous ruler.", "I heard he was a very strange lion cub. Crazy and sneaky."
An argument started to break out.
Obhule could only watch, but a good solution would never come from it.
Yet she knew full well that Welmir was right. The Mountain Kingdom had a special bond with the spirits of the ancestors. If only she could get a chance to talk to Luo....
In the evening, the shaman Mnabii came to see her. The chimpanzee knew what was bothering her.
"You know, Obhule, the great mountain kingdom was also once broken and divided into small groups. Luo united them. But now he has to fight with the other kings to prevail. Luo is so dangerous and so mean. My predecessor Rafiki would have advised you to follow your conscience. On the one hand, I understand that you are afraid of him, but maybe inside he is not what everyone says he is."
So Obhule and Ebrulem ran off to find him.

They stretched infinitely high into the sky.
The sun shone through the dense fog at the end of the deep valley.
"King Luo!" shouted Obhule loudly, and her voice echoed for a long time.
Ebrulem looked between the mists and recognized the serious face of Luo. "Obhule, look!"
"The spirits were not lying when they said I would receive visitors," he roared from the mountain. It felt like the mountains were speaking.
"Your Majesty, we have traveled far and now need your help to break the curse of Salord."
"Salord...one of the three brothers who left the mountains. Descendant of a pure bloodline."
"And my father," Ebrulem added.
"I know, honorable warrior, and contrary to the radical opinion of the other kingdoms, I know a way to put him out of his misery without having to kill him."
