Description
Stars’ past is unknown, what little she does know she remembers in dreams from when she was a child. Stars mother Delorza was an Angel, who was stolen from the skies by the minions of hell, to bargain with the Gods. Delorzas’ guard was a demon called Xorain.

While Delorza was being held captive, she did not fight, argue, or cry. Instead she sang with the voice of the heavens. It was this voice that made Xorain fall in love with Delorza, an emotion he never though possible. It was this emotion that made Xorain go against everything, and set her free. Keeping her safe, he stayed by her side until she was able to return to the heavens without harm. By this time Delorza realised Xorains feeling, and took pity on him, knowing that he could not return on the path they had taken. She asked him to go with her.

Knowing Delorza could not take Xorain to the skies with her, they made a home on the earthen planet. It was here that Delorza finally fell in love with Xorain, and they wed. They had been married for a few months when Delorza fell with child. The pregnancy did not go smoothly; to start with the bump grew at a fast rate leaving Delorza in a large amount of pain. Delorza was pregnant for no longer than 5 weeks when her waters broke and the child was born within an hour, a little after midnight.

Xorain and Delorza were blessed with a girl; she had the face of an Angel, and her mothers blue hair. But when the child finally opened her eyes, the demon blood that ran through her veins was obvious, for her eyes themselves were the colour of blood.

As a family they lived happily. Star grew quickly and within two months she was the size of a toddler, and could speak the odd word here and there. After the third month Star was able to walk un-aided and speak fluently in the earthen language. But it was during this third month, Those same minions who had kidnapped Delorza those 6 months earlier had traced them. Without warning they were attacked late one night, and both Xorain and Delorza lost their lives. Star was left also to die, but was discovered by a passing traveller who heard her cries. The traveller took her too a nearby orphanage, but with her speed of growth, within a month she was sold into slavery, her appearance and intelligence that of a four year old.

Star remained as a slave, cleaning and cooking for her master for some months. By this time her growth rate had slowed down slightly. Five months had past and Star now looked about 6 years in age, her master has started to scare her, as he had taken an unhealthy interest in the child, and he often ran his hand down the length of her arm when she was serving him. There was many a night when she would hide and cry. It was not long after this, when there was an ambush on the castle where she was imprisoned. Her master it seemed was not the most popular of men. Taking her first opportunity she escaped from the castle walls, and ran.

While sleeping rough one night and angel found her, and recognised her angelic blood, but also recognised the blood of the demon which ran through her veins. Scooping the sleeping child into her arms, she called out for other angels to assist her, as she moved towards an abandoned church. Placing star down on the alter, she tied her wrists and ankles together, and with five other angels prepared to exorcises the demon from within Star. The five angels who had appeared linked hands in a circle and started to chant in a strange language whilst the first angle made small slits in both Stars wrists, it was at this moment that Star woke, afraid, and bleeding. The first angel joined in with the chanting, placing as hand firmly on Star’s forehead.

As the chanting continued, Star felt a stirring of rage and anger boiling within her, and screamed out in agony as her small delicate hands, cracked as the bones shifted in position and her fingers elongated into what could only be described as claws. And bat like wings tore through her skin, striking out at the angels as they expanded, several of the angels were thrown across the room with the force. Star unable to control her new found rage and strength, broke free of the bonds and tore the hearts from those who had caused this transformation in her.

Now, terrified and socked with blood she fled, she ran until she no longer knew who she was, or who she was running from. When she finally reached the ends of the earth, she found a small boat moored she released it’s tether jumped in pushing it out into the unknown waters, watching the land get smaller as the boat drifted out to sea. When the land was but a dot on horizon she lay down in the boat and drifted into a dreamless sleep

When she awoke next she was on the Island of Teria
