Another Ukeawa Sally pic.Mixed feelings about this one. Something just doesn't look right with the proportions (particularly the chest and shoulder area) and the top half of her body looks like it's on backwards. Uploaded it because I spent too long on it to just not use and I think this is one of my best with texturing at least.
Hand drawn and then traced and textured on Photoshop.

This one's really beautiful as well.
I like it, there's been a lot of good SA Sally designs around, but yours stands out to me as being particularly strong while keeping with the original Sally design.

Yeah I tried to make mines as perfect a compromise of Uekawa's and SatAm's design as possible, she should have a uniform design but keep her unique and destinctive aspects.

Eh, personally I think they trashed Sally's design when the new artists tried to make her more like Ricky (eg. Yardley's design), then again the humanoid version beforehand wasn't any better.
It wouldn't hurt to have some unique characters once in a while rather than clones.

I would support it, but only as long as some actual thought was put into their implementation and they don't just become bland, lifeless props to the series.

More like the majority of new additions in the past decade. A large amount of new characters in the series are undeveloped and lack any notable development to make them sympathetic or relatable. It doesn't help a large amount seem to be made via the same mould of blandly serious, stoic clitches (eg. Shadow, Blaze, Silver and Shade, who is basically Julie-Su without any distinct quirks or flaws for a personality). Other retro characters come out even worse, Tails seems to have been erased of any personality whatsoever and exists merely as a walking 'deux ex machina' for Sonic. They are being too pretentius with the franchise and in trying to make it into something they don't understand they rob it of it's depth. Depth isn't always angst and 'darkness', if anything the more comical characters such as Eggman and Chip have came out more loveable and whole.
Sally in contrast to the games standards is a very humanized character, in fact perhaps her biggest appeal is her personality. If she ended skewed as badly as some of the current games cast, I think it would do more harm than good.
