Description
The main villains of the original novel, the creatures which haunt Ian Malcom's waking and sleeping life. In the book, the raptors are characterized by their sleek, tiger-like colors and unnatural intelligence. I choose not to make them any specific dromaeosaur, as Velociraptor (and arguably Deinonychus) are too small, Achillobator is too fragmentary to know anything about it, and Utahraptor & Dakotaraptor are too big. Therefore he's a standard, run of the mill raptor. Long legs (though they don't look all that long, in comparison to the big ass head) and that particular jaw shape are traits found in a few raptors, and are appropriate given what they do for most of the novel. Also the females were supposed to be chameleons but that doesn't really work with feathers so we'll just ignore that for now...
