Description
While there are many types of Undead, and the process of their creation is well documented, there are still many Supernatural phenomena that is still explainable. One of the largest examples of this is the Faceless One, the corpse of a Giant reported to roam the Ice Wastes of Novajard. Reports of this creature date back to the Dragon-Giant War from ancient times, and the story is reportedly played out like this: The Faceless One was once a Hero among the Giants, and was an important military figure during that time. During the Dragon-Giant Wars, the Faceless One was ambushed by a contingent of the strongest followers of the Dragon Warlords. His soldiers were slaughtered, but he fought on until he could not stand and was finally killed by the swarming Dragons. Even after he was killed, the Dragons desecrated his body, specifically his face, destroying it beyond recognition. However, the Faceless One's hatred revived him, keeping him alive by unknown means. He now roams the north as a spirit of vengeance, hunting down and killing any Dragons he encounters. Unfortunately, since he has no way of seeing, often than not he will murder innocents instead.
