I took this shot in an airplane after take off. I find comfort and peace in this mountain.....It happened to be one of the best shots I thin I have ever taken. The actual shot shows colors at the base of the mountain.Related content

Mt Ranier - oooh Ranier beer! I used to love those ads on TV, especially at Christmas. Driving up to Mt Ranier is so gogeous in the fall when the leaves start to turn colours. We don't see Ranier from up here in BC, but we do see Mt Baker - great view from the beach in White Rock.

Never been very close to Mt. Baker, but want to go there one of these days. I just love Mt. Renier.

Thanks! It really was pretty from the plane. Usually the moutain is obscered by clouds.....you can't even tell there is a mountain there. Have you ever been to Seattle? Just wondering if you had ever seen the mountain. Thanks for

That is truly a shame. I have been in every state but 2....traveled all my life....lived everywhere. Seattle is the best place to be as far as I am concerned. One day you will travel....I see it in your future.

yes there is, I would travel by car if I was to go around the world, might be cheaper, and I would be able to get all sorts of places instead of plane which is one place return plane one place return, car would be non stop

You have steady hands, my photos come out realy blurry, that shot is pretty sharp.

Thanks. I have a really good digital camera. I was shaking......but steadied out by the time I snapped the shot.! Some cameras have a little button that lets you equalize, and it takes the shakiness away or minimizes it.

I have a Cannon Supershot. Fantastic camera...best digital I have ever owned. I continue to work on the skills part though!

It is near Seattle, WA. It is such a beautiful mountain. Covered with snow year round.

oh i thought it was out west. I was lucky enough to go out to Utah a few months ago and this picture reminded me alot of being out there. Just the tall rocky mountains, you know? again that picture is awesome. definatly one of my favorites!

It was the most awesome thing you could ever imagine! I could see the curve from the plane, but when you could see it clearly on the picture, I was truly amazed. I am just an amateur, but because of this shot, I became very serious about photography. Thanks!
