Description Tau Broadside battlesuit, these mobile artillery units also acts as tank hunters or just anything else that is unfortunate enough to come in range of their twinlinked railguns.

This little fellow is a resin Forgeworld version of the regular Broadsides and thus acts like a commander in his unit. The new Tau are bound to come out within the next two years, and I do hope they are going more for this design that is sleek yet also a bit beefier than what the standard suits look like.

We can only hope

Nicely done! The panel lines are clean and the highlights really make the colors pop.

My favorite unit recieves yet another stunning homage. ^ ^

Thank you, I always preferred to give them a clean and crisp look, my Tau don't like the dirt that much XD

Awe thank you, yeah it's been over 12 years now, think it's time they bring out a new design that doesn't look so bulky and fragile.
Thanks again!

Bad design, IMHO.
Classic XV88 is better.

Each to their own, I think the old suits could be more streamlined, the legs always look like they could snap of at any minute.
Besides they have been around since the release in 2001, they are due for a design makeover.

I did not mean aesthetics.
Location railguns on the hands - no doubt the bad and the improbable solution. With them XV88 turns from war machine into a mecha-clown.

Unfortunately, too many additions and redesign reduces the amount of common sense in Warhammer 40k.

PS
Model GW bad, but your work is great, I'm sorry, I did not tell this from the beginning.
