Description So I watched this really informative documentary about what its like to live off of a dollar a day in Guatemala, (or less) and it inspired me to make this, Mostly marker and pen, with colored pencils and gouache paint. Looks more African, but oh well.

it's a a few inches bigger then a postcard.

I was thinking about making cards like this and selling them and donating all the money to Guatemalan education, or help with microfinances. (just a loose thought) This was sort of my test to try out the style I was imagining. I'm making a blue themed one at the moment.

What do you guys think? I got a bit messed up in the torso shape and coloring her skin.

Heres a trailer for the documentary www.youtube.com/user/Livingono…

definetly a great film to watch! I used Netflix.

The different thinkness of the lines give her a very expressive look. And the yellow highlights are such a great touch. Nice job dusty :3

Thanks$$ (My exclamation point button broke so pretend the money signs are exclamation points) XD

I actually wasn't going to have any yellow highlights, but I kept messing up on her skin tone so I thought, I'll add the yellow to add contrast and distract from her discoloration, But I'm glad it worked out, haha thanks again$

Fantastic idea to add all the black lines, they work very well here. They make the drawing interesting.

And I think it's a very nice idea with the donating!
