The somewhat humanish, yet still off proportions of your machines give them a strangely uncanny feel. Frickin' great effect I say!

What really sold me on this piece was that at the thumbnail distance, it looks like a traditional man in a helmet at first glance, but the longer I look, the more I want to click full-size and start the whole process over again. Also, the dust covers on so many of your cyborgs are a great way to have "clothes" that serve as both form and function. (You did a picture of a cyborg with flames on his pants and sleeves, and that one really stood out to remind the audience that yes, there's a soul inside all that metal and plastic.)Β
