Description This is a Trakehner from the Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, Ky. Trakehners were nearly wiped out af the end of World War Two as Russians were moving into Prussia. Thankfully, they've since been protected and numbers have grown. They're very well paced, smother, agile, and very tall. Generally they're 6 feet tall at the withers, and if you don't speak horse, that's the top by the shoulders, where the mane ends- not his head.
they're absolutly gorgeous to see, and great to ride.

seriously, I've ridden horses all my life, but nobarn I've been at has had one, they're gorgeous! I got to ride one at the park, absolutly beautiful.
when I'm rich and famous, I want one!

No, I usually just jump and dressage.
they're not as good as thoroughbreds for racing, anyway
