Yeah it was probably a mistake to go with the diagonal panel; my idea was that I wanted to emphasize how Alvin is pulling Simon over onto him, and the panel kinda 'bent' with it. But my drawings are not very dynamic and I don't think that came across very well.
Speech bubbles too, for this page I sketched it out before doing the dialogue, which is the opposite to what I usually do. So bubbles kinda had to be stuck in willy-nilly. :C I should have been more careful. Flow is important.
Hahah and yeah, regarding the sketchiness: I drew these pages with the intention of going over them with ink. So the visual quality of each panel varies a lot panel by panel: due to resizing and to how confident I was of the pose generally. I suck! Haha

Dude well that's fantastic! And I think you're work's incredibly dynamic! What I love about your storytelling and style is that you manage to be dynamic without having to have super-exaggerated bendy figures! There's a great way you create dynamics with the character's dialogue, pacing and expressions.
I hope you could put these comics together in some form of print, cuz man, I'd totally buy it in a heart beat XD
