Well gang, I thought I introduce to you the Monsters of the Day for my hypothetical 48th Super Sentai Series, The Jyarei Monsters

In the original source Anime, The Jyarei Monsters were also the MotD who were sent out by a Big bad to destroy the Novel Pole which keeps the floating island of Mugen (The home of the Eto Rangers) suspended in the sky via infiltrating the various Novel Worlds that make up said Pole to bring them ruin (Via changing the Novel World into a parody of itself and/or interfering with the story while disguising themselves as other people, often characters in the original story) which would cause Mugen to fall into the ocean below if not fixed.

For my take, The Jyarei are created by infecting either Animals or Objects with a Jyarei Spirit (Which lead to 2 different classes of Jyarei Minsters: Biotic & Abiotic (Or in laymen's terms: Organic & Inorganic). In the 2nd half of the Series, A hybrid of the 2 would appear which combines elements of Both Animal and Object (SEE DYNAMAN's MECHAVOLUTION BEASTS & JETMAN'S BIO-DIMENSION BEASTS FOR REFRENCE)

It's the return of the Organic class Jyarei in the form of the Ant Jyarei. But there seems to be more to this one than meets the eye (Oh yeah, this one also faces a New Eto Beast and formation with an appearance by a Warrior from Days Past)

Stats

Height: 193cm (Giant: 48.3m)
Weight: 84kg (Giant: 21 tons...Give or take a ton)
Infection Object: Ant(?)

Known Abilities

Being an ant, It has these Insect related abilities:

Hardened Exoskeleton: Like most insects, Ant Jyarei has an exoskeleton that provided excellent defense against the Eto Rangers' arsenal

Strength: Ant Jyarei possesses immense strength

Spores: Due to having mushrooms on it, Ant Jyarei could fire spores from its hands or mouth. While it seems that this attack is mostly used for escapes, it's true purpose would be revealed later

Arsenal

Mandibles: Like most ants, Ant Jyarei can attack with its Mandibles (Namely to grasp, crush, or cut)

Shovel: For some strange reason, Ant Jyarei is armed with an E-Tool-esq Shove for melee combat

Weakness(es)

Thermal shock: Despite having a tough exoskeleton, It could be damaged by alternating heat & cold in rapid succession (as demonstrated when using the Dragon Medal in an Eto Buster (Which allows it to shoot flames) followed by a blast of CO2 from a Fire Extinguisher (or in this case, The Monkey Medal's Trickster ability while in an Eto Buster to create a Freeze Beam) thus allowing the Team to deal Damage

Sadler's notes: This particular Jyarei was inspired by ants that are infected with mushroom spores that take control of the host ant's brain and sprout from its head or back (Specifically Ophiocordyceps sinensis , an endoparasitoid that replaces the host tissue and can affect its behavior.), which will relate to the next Jyarei monster to be posted
