I have been playing Dead Space quite a bit recently, both the first and second Dead Space, and I decided to draw some OC characters for them.

For the basic design, I drew myself as a human, and as a necromorph character (as a Stalker, my favourite type of necromorph ). And then I added some personal touches - I made my human character a scientist, that's an expert in cybernetics and made himself a robotic arm after he lost his left arm, and the necromorph has a control collar (it's tame, which is why it's calm and has it's tomgue poking out. )

Here are the bios and names of these two (These two characters would appear in Dead Space 2, onboard The Sprawl):

Dr Peter Williams
Occupation: Chief Cybernetics Officer
DOB: 5th May 2472 (Age 39)
Equipment: Officer's RIG, Robotic Arm with Plasma Cutters, a Pulse Rifle and Super Strength enhancements
Affiliation: C.E.C (Concordance Extraction Corporation), 'Sheila'

Peter Williams is a doctor who is the head of the Cybernetics Department onboard the USG Ishimura. He originally came onboard the Ishimura alongside his wife, Sheila Williams, and they both worked alongside each other in the Medical Department, mostly working in the field of cybernetics.
He led a peaceful life onboard the Ishimura, making friends with his patients, the other mecial staff, the Captain Benjamin Matthius and the Chief Science Officer Terrence Kyne.
When the Marker was discovered on Aegis VII, Peter was unsure about what would happen if it was bought onboard the ship, and worried what the Church of Unitology would do with it. Sheila went onto the colony to find out more about the Marker, but it was then that the Necromorph infestation broke out....
When Peter learned of his wife's death, he was obviously heartbroken, and was depressed at her death, and angry at the Necromorphs, and the fact that the Captain denied any survivors reaching the Ishimura.
When the infestation reached the ship, Peter attempted to run for the Bridge, and to an escape pod. He fought valiantly against the Necromorphs, but ended up having his arm badly injured. It was not torn off, but he discovered that he could not move it. He escaped, but just barely....
His escape pod made it to Titan Station, and coincidentally, it landed near the Medical Center. He was helped out of the pod by passers by, and after he explained how he came to be there, he was given a job by Director Hans Tiedemann. With the new facilities in The Sprawl's Medical Center, Peter was able to replace his lost arm with a robotic arm, and he continued his past career in his new home. However, he was still distraught after losing his wife, and began to slip into depression.
After hearing that Isaac Clarke and Nolan Stross were forced by Tiedemann to create a new marker, Peter was outraged, and knew that he couldn't express his anger to Tiedemann openly, but instead, he resigned from his job in defiance. Taking his equipment to the Public Sector of the Sprawl, namely Titan Heights, Peter attempted to help the survivors, by treating their wounds with cybernetic implants. However, when the Necromorphs arrived in Titan Heights, Peter's patients were infected, and Peter was horrified that his research had led to the birth of these stronger Necromorphs. Sadly, he had to kill many of his old patients, which drove him to further sadness....
He believed that he had made many mistakes in his life, and he would do his best to set things right. Stealing some copies of the Marker codes from the Medical Center, he decided that he would make a Necromorph loyal to him, and as such, this would help him to deal with the Necromorph Infestation.
Meeting Isaac Clarke, Ellie Langford and Nolan Stross, he explained his proposition, and despite them disagreeing with him, Peter said that it would help their plight greatly...
He was eventually able to find a Stalker Necromorph, and he placed a control collar on it, which was created using the codes from the Marker. As such, the Necromorph stopped attacking anyone, due to a control device that Peter had which was attuned to the Necromorph's collar. Peter tried to see if he could pet the Necromorph, and to his surprise, he could.... The Necromorph actually became friendly to Peter, and Peter called the Necromorph 'Sheila' in memory of his dead wife. Some think that Peter may have become insane due to being exposed to the Marker Codes, but he says that he is friendly towards this Necromorph, because it is like his 'nightmares meeting his dreams, and becoming something beautiful'.

Year of 'birth': 2511
'Equipment': Control Collar

Sheila is the Necromorph that Peter Williams 'tamed', using a control collar that he had crafted from some Marker Codes he had stolen from the Medical Center.
Named after Peter Williams' dead wife, Sheila is very loyal to Peter, and it could even be said that 'she' is friendly towards him. Sheila hates anyone, human or Necromorph, who could harm 'her' master, and kills anyone 'she' deems dangerous on sight. Before, Peter hated seeing Necromorphs kill, but when Sheila does it, he says 'You go, girl!!'
Like all Stalker Necromorphs, Sheila prefers to hide around corners, and attack 'her' foes using the element of surprise. 'She'
often eats the corpses of her enemies, and Peter muses 'At least she can prepare her own meals!'
