This X-Men script I'm using was taken from the try out page from Glass House Graphics. Some of the lingo I don't quite understand, so hoping to get some feedback and critique especially from industry professionals would be much appreciated.Page 6 Script
Cyclops runs, and Phoenix and Rogue fly, toward us (monster’s point of view). However, that panel is shown on viewscreen! We CUT TO: A SKRULL space ship in space! (It’s what caused the streak in page 1). Then we CUT TO: Inside, is SUPER SKRULL, laughing in triumph at what he sees on that viewscreen. He’s standing near CRUSHER CREEL, the Absorbing Man, who is captured and in stasis, wide-eyed, as wires and rays come from his body. Super-Skrull is siphoning off Creel’s absorbing ability, and is transferring it to that synthetic monster he’s created! (In this specific case, if you don’t have references for these, make something up.)

Amazing work... I wish I could give some constructive critique on this, but I honestly can't find anything I'd change or do differently... shockingly well done kiddo.

By one person? Just one? That's hardly something to get yourself down over. If they really tore into it, then maybe they have some points, things to improve on, but there's one thing they can't change; that this is some fantastically drawn comic-worthy material. If you're of the mind to do any more comic work of your own, then stop by the gashu-group.net when we're fully operational, and I'll personally garuantee you that a comic you draw can be published and sold both online and on our stall.
As for my own comic, I do have one, and it's still not finished. I've got lots of material, drawings, whole panels even, but my writing... Well, to explain it a little, I'm a novelist in my style of writing, I'm used to lots of description, lots of drama, lots of action and more to the point; lots of dialogue.
I'm terrible at condensing that into anything smaller, even short stories... so the comic is, for me, a nightmare! I've drawn some scenes over and over again from different points of view and angles, and it's just not coming together as cohesive, directed story-board.
Ugh... I can do this, I know I can, I just need to keep plugging away at it until it submits to my will.

Yeah, just one. It's not getting me down. I am taking what was told and applying it to these new pages I'm working on. Well, as much as I can. There's alot of information to absorb, understand and apply.
Just like you, keep telling myself it's just growing pains. Eventually it will go away and there will be a new set of issues, problems, warts, etc to deal with. hahahaha

just got to the end of all the x-men try outs. 
wow, great pencils through all 6 pages (totally digging the p4 of phoenix & cyclops descending down).
is this try-out being submitted to marvel ? if it is good luck go go go fighting!

Nah, not ready to start submitting to the big boys. I've got a long road to go there. I had these pages reviewed and it was really bad but that's good. That's what I want so I know what I need to work on. My next pages, I believe, will be better but will still not be good enough. I'm hoping to do something with a smaller publisher if the ops appears. Thanks for the luck.
