hi! i thought this would be amusing for a first upload sdfksdf. i've been in pretty bad creative burnout for months but i feel like i'm starting to come out of it and i drew this as a self portrait LMAO... something i realized in the past few months of burnout is that social media (twitter and the like) has been running my passion for art into the ground and as a result i've been seeking out alternative spaces to post art as supplementary to my usual social media presences, and i figured i'd give dA a shot again. i have been using deviantart since i was very young, was a long time user, and then i left when the site got bought by wix and massively changed in layout. like, the instant eclipse was forced on everyone i was out of there and haven't touched the site since. i was also hesitant to try it again because of the PR fiasco around AI art over here but it seems like things have settled and there's a decent community still on here and just. you know even though i still don't like the UI of this site i miss gallery sites and i want to have a big one again in addition to my budding presence on stuff like Buzzly (which is like deviantart but cooler) so here i am. who knows maybe it'll leave a better impression on me than i expect and i'll be a deviantart stan again. only time can tell BDFNFSKD

i'm using a new account since i felt really weird reviving the dead one i used as a teenager and didn't want to have to spend time cleaning out who i was following, my gallery, etc. i'm also new to the whole New Deviantart thing so i don't really know how art discovery or tagging works anymore. if you see this, hello! i draw pokemon, quadruped characters, and people. it's nice to meet you and i'd love to find new people to follow and feel involved in community again
