Beautiful oekaki. The highlighting you've applied to the figure separates the darkness and the calm blue hues of the background effectively. This picture has an overall soothing sense about it. Very well done.

I've been wandering all over deviantART today and I came across THIS! *drools* This is AMAZING! The colours and the mood and the...*begins staring again* The black clothing contrasts so well with the blue. It almost looks like there's a cavernous drop-off in the ice, but the abyss turns out to be his coat. *blinks* Or maybe I've been looking at too many optical illusions.
Time to wander off again and comment months and years after everyone else on some other gifted artist's work, though I doubt I'll find another picture as interesting as this one. Anon!
