There are multiple examples of nostalgia-corrupted halves of fandoms. Which includes the toxic halves of the Classic Spyro Fandom, The OG SMG4 Fandom, The Paper Mario/Mario Party/Mario Sports Fandoms, The Sonic Fandom (whether it's those who really love the Classic Games or the Adventure Games), The Cartoon Community (not giving any Modern cartoons a chance these days), The MLP Fandom (mainly for saying the show got bad after Twilight got her wings), The Disney Parks Fandom (yes, that unfortunately has nostalgia-corrupted people as well), etc. etc. However one of the BIGGEST examples of a nostalgia-corrupted side of a fandom is the toxic half of the Star Wars Fandom, or as they're infamously known as, The Fandom Menace.

Gosh, where do I even begin with these people? They constantly argue or complain about either the prequels and/or sequels, harass thewriters and actors for the movie (Kelly Marie Tran unfortunately being a victim of that), attack anyone who likes the prequels or especially the sequels and say that they're wrong or "lying" for liking it, and so much more drastic and atrocious actions. One of the biggest examples of why The Fandom Menace is horrible is MisAnthro Pony, gosh his 3 hour long video about The Last Jedi is honestly unnecessary and unbearable, talking about a subject that isn't even relevant anymore while also bringing up stuff from his past videos just to make ridiculous points. Yes both the prequels and sequels had their flaws, but what a bunch of people need to realize is that not every Star Wars movie or TV show is perfect. No matter the trilogy, and no matter who makes or distributes them. And a lot of Star Wars movies and shows pretty much reuse a lot of similar elements TBH (so for those who are like, this new Star Wars movie/tv show is just copying another), keep in mind that any Star Wars piece pretty much reuses an element one way or another.

And we all have different opinions life, but we shouldn't bash others for liking something or say that they're wrong, even if they do like a certain Star Wars movie/TV show that's flawed or not as good as the others, that doesn't always mean that they're wrong, "stupid," "lying," or anything; it's mainly because they choose to enjoy it despite its flaws. For example, even though The Force Awakens was the first movie of the infamous sequel trilogy, I actually still love it despite its many flaws. To me The Force Awakens was the ONLY good movie in the Sequel Trilogy, and it still holds a special place in my heart for being the first major Star Wars movie I saw in theaters. We may not always agree or have the same thoughts, but our differences and separate opinions are what makes each of us who we are in life.

And to quote Schaffrillas Productions from the end of his Last Jedi video "Feel free to disagree all you want as long as you don’t harass people for it, because at the end of the day, it’s just a movie. Arguing about Star Wars is what we grow beyond, that is the true burden of all fans."
