Sleepy Hollow is neither the best Tim Burton movie nor my favorite, however it is a mainstay for my to-watch Halloween movies. It's a solid movie, great entertainment, great performances, great spooky atmosphere. I like it a lot. Pretty much the only thing I don't like about it is the last 20-30 minutes or so, when it turns just a little too goofy.

However, some of the best stuff about the movie is simply this: Sleepy Hollow was made before Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, and Danny Elfman started to phone everything in.
