I love Commander Nebula. He was a mean old man, but you can tell he totally cared about XR.
And as a kid I loved that his desk was always after him to do that blasted paperwork. 
Also I really appreciate his design. I love his mighty mustache. Whoever came up with the idea to give him a peg-leg (which can be used as a blaster in a pinch) is a genius.
Oh, and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command is one of my favorite shows; I thoroughly enjoyed every episode.

Awww yeah, Commander Nebula. I loved that angry, surly man and the three-dimensionality they gave to his personality and storytelling. He could've been just another stereotypical angry boss, but he cared for everyone under his employment and had the capacity to be proud of when his space rangers did something right.
His role in the XL episode where you find out he was also the dad to a completely embittered robot (who I swear had one of the better villain designs) that holds him hostage because he still carries a chip on his shoulder for being deactivated...oh man. That entire episode. Even in the face of death, he praises XR for being a true space ranger.
This came out fabulously. I really dig your "glow-y" lighting in this series.

Heehee, exactly! It's always nice when there's some kind of dimension in these kinds of cartoons. When we get to see Nebula being more compassionate or at least acknowledging is always a treat.

I always loved Commander Nebula and wanted to see more of him, so I'm quite happy that you drew him so wonderfully. He looks gruff and capable, but we all know he has a pretty big soft spot. Working in a more realistic facial structure while still keeping him immediately recognizable takes talent, and I really like the coloring here as well. I think I'll fave this!
