Hi, there! I'm not much of a fan of Zutara (though i admit it has it's interesting points and i have some cute artwork of it in my faves), but this comic is AMAZING! I love how you respectfully displayed bits of Kataang and some Maiko in here as well. I mean, it really helps heal some of the wounds of those nasty ship wars. XD
And your comic (the artwork AND the writing) is 1,000,000X better than that travesty of a Zutara comic, "How I Became Yours."
*shudders*
I want to scrub myself with hot water and bleach every time I think of that comic.

I draw the lines with a mechanical pencil on regular white printer paper.
(Sometimes the smears and smudges work to my advantage.)
Then I scan it in and fix, adjust and color it all in photoshop.

Zuko: I forgot about you. Besides, you better be glad you were still alive to be in jail. The Azula I knew would have drop-kicked you into the boiling lake.
Mai: That is not an excuse.
Zuko: Well, you're always bored so I figured prison time would be an adventure for you. *dodges daggers*

Huzzah! An update! I love the coloring (not too red/orange/pink, its just right.) Love the tender expressions and touches, although they seem almost sad. Maybe that's just me. Can't wait for more.
