it's the ink from the pen. i took the container out and took of the ballpoint bottom and blew into the other end and smeared the ink with a paper towel. SUPER MESSY!!!!!! just a head up if you try it out. i did it that way so i would have to fill in by hand the back ground and the effect it gave looks cool it think.

your words do. sometimes i feel i draw to much anime chicks and wonder if it's getting old but when i get feedback from people and even young ladies such as yourself then it's a confirmation that it's a go.

Well draw what you love draw what you want. Its good to go out of your comfort zone and expand your skills but its always great to see what you really love drawing and people obviously love it too cause its awesome

thanks for the words of encouragement missy. i guess what i want to draw is something complex with a ridiculous amount of detail. even draw (are you ready for it?)... some male characters . that's something i rarely do haha. i love anime and drawing females. there's nothing like drawing a pretty face with gorgeous eyes and correctly exaggerated body proportions. i haven't done a life like piece in a while so maybe that'll be something i'll get at soon.
