So uhhh..This is from the last book of the Percy Jackson series, The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan.
I'm not sure if there ever was a scene like this, but I'd like to think that there was.

I'm not really sure if I can teach you, cause some of my friends ask me how I do it and I don't know to answer them so I'm just gonna tell you the same answer I gave them. I use a lot of reference pics, A LOT. I use them for practice, you know, for anatomy and facial expressions and such. All it takes is a whole load of practice and of course, patience. h

Alright, I have a bit of critique.
Now, the faces look awesome, really good, along with the hands, but the arms and legs are a bit skinny. Try to look up to anatomy of the arms and legs, it helps a bunch when you draw.
It also helps if you make the arms and legs on the guy longer, and he hands bigger. Like Burdge-bug said, bigger hands add character. Along with longer and bigger limbs. ^-^
