Commission for Pyrex, of his koala character. I like the setting, it makes me want to shove this character out of the frame and plop down there myself with a lemonade and a good book. But I already drew it this way, so I guess it's too late. Maybe next time. Interesting note on this character - I don't know how to draw koalas. I originally had like a poofy tail on him, but then I was gently reminded of the fact that koalas don't have tails. Heh heh... I think I'm too used to the mix-n-match privileges of fantasy characters if I start adding imaginary parts to other animals. Pyrex and his koala-self can be found at: [link]Related content

He looks like quite the cutie but if you had put the tail in, I probably wouldn't have noticed. I forgot Koalas didn't have tails too.

The color's not as intense here as I usually see in your stuff--the subtlety lends an air of pleasant, sunny relaxation, very nice.

The sense of depth has improved dramatically. Impecable job on that.
Also, I do love the shade of those leaves. You should have draw the little guy eating them.

Woah they don't have tails? That's news to me I thought they had little stubs like seargent had or maybe the bunny fluff but either way he looks like a really cool character. good guy he reminds me of you im not really sure why but i think its all of the blue.

Anyways for a guy who didn't know koalas too well I think this turned out fantastic and I think he's a really cute character. He looks like such a good guy XD like if I were sitting not too far away crying he'd walk over and sit next to me and ask if everything is ok. Then hand me a tissue XD
