(A friend of mine has the Neon-coloured Switch...it looks pretty awesome...and probably the one I'm going to aim to get myself...although, I'll VERY happily make do with a standard Grey one if I have to!

Handheld mode? Yeah, it works brilliantly
When I'm out and I have my Switch with me~ I pretty much always have it in Handheld mode
(The advantage is that it keeps the JoyCons from discharging...disadvantage though...it saps the consoles battery a little more 
When I'm at home, it's always in the dock (unless the JoyCons need a charge
