Where!?Starbound fan-art.
Since It finally came out the 1.0 version I've been hooked on it xD Β It's amazing how much this game has changed since the first beta was released.Β
The primitive floran race is now my favourite, haha, their way of thinking is funny.

Ahhh, I haven't made a Floran yet. I just beat the game with my novakid, was planning on playing Hylotl next, but I might try Floran...

I know right! But trying to get to the underwater ones are such a drag, there needs to be a better way to move through water. I tried the morph ball, but it just moves upwards quickly =w=Β
I want to do quests for hylotls to get them to join my crew, but they just take so long when you have to move halfway across the world through water =w=;;

You could start a colony and make hylotl move to the houses just putting some of their furniture within. Then, after some quests, they I'll join your crew.
And yeah, water is awful xD I used the spike ball to go a little faster on plain surfaces, but it's not really that much.

I was planning on waiting to do colonies after I had beat the game with several races... and get every tenant gotta catch 'em all
It's so devastating when a really cool character gives me a quest, but then doesn't want to join my crew I WAS SO CLOSE
the spike ball is my baby, it has gotten me out of so many bad situations LOL
They don't even offer the grappling hook during the story anymore? I don't even know where to craft it LOL
and they took away the bouncy ball that saved you from fall damage before =w=;; so I die all the time now
the 1.0 update is pretty great, but I sort of hope they bring back some old features, or make new versions of them

The grappling hook can be carfted in a upgrade of a crafting station meant to be for exploring, hunting, and harvesting (something like that). It's really cool xD
I'm not really worried about fall damage because I mostly use the double jump or the hook in case I fall, but It would be cool too if they brought some of the old features as you said.

I think the new crafting stations are pretty cool, but they take up so much space in your ship =w= before I got my sparrow license, I had literally no more room in my ship for anything LOL I had all my crafting stations out, and chests filled with stuff... it was a bad situation >.>;;
My game is pretty laggy when I go underground, so my reaction time + lag makes it pretty impossible to save myself with a double jump at the last second xD
YESSS they updated and now dying in casual doesn't take 10% of your pixels (ithink) i'M FREE TO DIE ALL I WANT and not be poor
One of my favorite new features it being able to catch literally anything that moves with capture pods now (except bosses probably? haven't tried LOL)
Before, you couldn't catch the little critters like turtles, rats, snakes, glowing orbs etc. or flying creatures, bUT NOW I CAN BE A POKEMON MASTER CRITTER CATCHER IN STARBOUND
I found this giant flying dragon monster near a glitch building and caught it, it's super awesome
it breathes fIRE 10/10 best pet
