My current Second life avatar convert to 2D draw up xPPfinally have time to draw after the final exam xDD
Ilossa the fire/magma based dragon... standing on a lava floating platform :3

the line work and coloring is amazing there are areas where the coloring is patchy but nothing that would be seen unless you were looking for them, as for the outer glow that's a really good affect makes the scales look gilded makes her stand out with the light of the fires, the amour and the general look is amazing. probably could have spent a little more time perfecting the back ground but that would be about it i would say, i really like this pic and very well thought of and an excellent concept i look forward to seeing more work from you e.deviantart.net/emoticons/t/t… " width="15" height="15" alt="

well glad to hear you agree and i still think its a fantastic piece none the less just the background needs perfecting a little more and also make sure to full in any blanks and you shall be up there with the daily deviations

Now I want to give you a constructive critique:
- I gave you 5 stars for the vision because she is a really wonderful and sexy character and you placed her in a good pose...
- Originality is 4 stars because is different from most of this images kind.
- The tecnique you use is very effective and gives a great impact, and I see that you made the background with less details probably to bring out the character... Good work!
In general there is nothing more that I can say, the manga-style is well reproduced and I love also the scales that you placed in some parts of the body... But there is a thing that I don't understand: what are the three "rectangular things" on the right of her head?

Let's see this picture....
The borders of the character looks pretty acceptable, though never goes bad applying some luminous effect over it (probably through gradients) so that it doesn't look so hard.
The background: it shows clearly the context of the picture: a sort of eneric scene while the same time it looks dark, due to the clouds, magma and the stones and such, specially by the colour of the clouds. The magma, however, doesn't look so realistic to me; I would use the smudge tool and use a yellow with more brightness, but I think it's not a big deal.
The character design looks really awesome to me, as well as the details used on it. The anatomy, the accesories the character carries, the colours used in general and the heroic aspect, everything looks great. Also I love too much these anthro/furry styled characters.

Dragons have always fascinated me and I have to say, your art style and take on them is incredible. I love all of your art, but this character truly stole my awe. I could go on a long-winded tirade of all the fine details I love about this piece, but I'll simplify my ravings to this: Amazing character, I love the background and how it compliments her, and again, she is beyond incredible. Very. Well. Done.
